Teddy Kelly

BIO

Mazatlan, Sinaloa artist Teddy Kelly is considered a hybrid due to the versatility of his work as a muralist and creative director. he currently resides in the greater Los Angeles area. His work is influenced by the Bauhaus, a German movement from 1919, and the fusion of the urban art phenomenon of the 21st century, which he is a part of. This offers a proposal of free composition with elements from the beginnings of the modern movement, color, and architectural tones.

 

His career began after he returned from Orlando, Florida, after a paid-intern at Disney / attended to Disney university collegue program. Upon his return to California, he was recognized with an honorable mention in 2005 by the American Institute of Graphic Arts. Throughout his career, his murals have traveled the world, exhibiting in over 10 countries.

 

His work has been commissioned for public, diplomatic, and private works for clients such as government consulates, cities, and commercial brands like Pernod Ricard, Gensler, RedBull, Google, Facebook, Hotwheels, Pepsi, Saatchi & Saatchi, Toyota, and LinkedIn, among others.

His creativity extends to the music and fashion industries, specifically surf and skate. He worked as art director for Maverick (Live Nation) alongside Guy Oseary, Ashton Kutcher, Madonna, and U2. In Latin America, he designed and collaborated on the albums "Energía" by J Balvin and "Tributo de Angeles Azules," which became the best-selling album in Mexico in recent years. In urban fashion, he was an artist and designer for Volcom, New Balance, and creative director for Ambig.
